Pack Health is a digital health coaching platform for chronic disease management. We partner members with their own personal Health Advisor, who provides weekly coaching sessions and personalized follow-up online and over the phone, according to the member's communication preferences. In addition to being a virtual partner in problem-solving, coaches share videos, activities, and resources to support the member's specific health needs. Healthcare is complex, and people struggling with the burden of a chronic diagnosis are often overwhelmed. The Product Designer will help ease this burden by helping Pack Health design intuitive, cohesive experiences across our omni-channel platform. As our first Product Designer, you will work with the broader product team to develop products and services that work in harmony to deliver a delightful experience to our customers, members and Health Advisors. You will help craft our design standards and processes and shape Pack Health’s product at this crucial stage in our growth.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and segment customer personas and journey maps
  • Contribute to product discovery efforts, identifying customer pain points and opportunities to create value
  • Perform user interviews and testing to gather insights into users’ and customers’ experiences
  • Prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications
  • Map user flows and interactions
  • Iterate and rapidly test designs
  • Develop and implement usability tests for new user experiences
  • Develop Pack Health’s standards for product and UX design




  • A passion for understanding and empathizing with users and customers
  • Understanding of core UX concepts (e.g. Human Centered Design, Design Thinking)
  • Understanding of core UX tasks (e.g. user research, prototyping, usability testing, evaluation, and iteration)
  • Comfortable with both visual and interaction design
  • Understanding of behavioral science principles
  • Expertise in UX/prototyping or graphic design software – e.g. Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Framer
  • Experience in conducting qualitative research (e.g. structured interviews)
  • Open minded (particularly towards feedback), eager to collaborate, and passionate about subject area
  • 2+ years of work experience. Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or other programming languages a plus
  • Immigration or work visa sponsorship will not be provided
